The moment beside the postcard.
I'm Gunnar — a London-based photographer drawn to the energy of the street, the geometry of architecture, and the quiet of a road far from home. Most of what I shoot started as something I almost walked past: a fall of light, a gesture, a line of a building against the sky.
Travel, street, and architecture are really one subject for me — the way a place gives itself away when you slow down and pay attention. I'm less interested in the view everyone stops for than in the moment standing quietly next to it.
Through the lens I'm trying to keep hold of the perspectives, patterns, and small feelings that make a place itself, and nowhere else.
